You are prisoner RK1441, sentenced to death. One day, military personnel arrive at the prison, strike a deal with the administration, and summon you. You are offered a unique chance to earn your freedom—provided you carry out a specific mission for the military. With little to lose, you agree.

They transport you to a classified site: an abandoned mine. Your task is to descend to the very bottom and activate a massive elevator that will lift an object the military needs. No one will tell you what the object is or why the military won't retrieve it themselves.
